Cost Tracker doesn't need any Lovable API keys. You bring the project list from your own logged-in browser, then choose the fastest way to feed in credit data.

Step 01

Create your account

Sign in with email. Your data is scoped to your workspace via row-level security — nobody else can see your project list.

Step 02

Install the browser extension

Grab the Chrome .zip or Firefox .xpi from Settings, load it in developer mode, and paste in your sync token. It talks only to your Cost Tracker instance.

Step 03

Sync your project list

Open lovable.dev/dashboard/projects, click Sync in the extension popup, and every project shows up in your Cost Tracker dashboard — names, URLs, custom domains, and publish status inferred automatically.

Step 04

Import credit usage

Lovable doesn't expose usage via API, so we give you three fast paths: paste a CSV, use the credits-page console snippet, or drop a screenshot and let AI OCR fill in the rows.

Extension install notes

Chrome / Edge / Brave: open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, and drag in the .zip.
Firefox: open about:debugging → This Firefox → Load Temporary Add-on and select the .xpi.
Point the extension at your published URL, not the preview URL — preview URLs are auth-gated.
